Nauvoo Historic Sites, including Carthage Jail, remain closed to in-person visits.
Visitors are welcome to drive around and walk on the sidewalks and take photos, but there are no activities available, even if you see them on this website.
The Visitors’ Center is closed for maintenance. Pioneer Pastimes is closed. There are no outdoor performances.
You may see horses and wagons in the street, but wagon rides are currently not available; the horses are just getting training and exercise.
Restrooms are located in the parking ramp near the Nauvoo Temple.
Until we are able to resume normal operations, if you visit Historic Nauvoo, take time to schedule a live video tour of the sites. It is possible to stand outside a building and take a tour with the missionaries inside if you schedule online.
Please check back often for updates.
